Caro-kan Defence on king's side

What will happen if my opponent plays pawn on e4 and i play the caro-kan defence on the king's side? (I mean pawn on f6 and e5)

Will i get checkmated easily? Will it be hard to develop my pieces?

I tried it on a physical board and (Maybe I'm too dumb) I don't kinda see any problem with it.

You weaken the king, waste a tempo, and avoid the natural development of the knight. Just play the regular Caro-Kann

you will have to learn your opening and what mistakes not to make. it's a perfectly fine system that USED TO drive me nuts, but I've had winning results with the mieses

That will end up as the domino defense. You can sac your knight, check with queen and win rook. Only way for black to stop is to move king out.

Terrible idea.

A good defense against e4 is e5. Its tried and true. There are so many defenses depending on what your opponent does. Leads to fun tactical chess and your future self may thank you.

Caro kann is a bit boring. Cramped. But if you are good with it you can slowly pick away at your opponent. Its a super solid opening.

Good luck.

You will get absolutely blown off the board if you try this.
