Caro kann ; e6 by white

Hi guys , does anyone have an antedote against 1. E4 c6 2. D4 d5 3. E5 bf5 4. G4 bg6 5. E6 ? What should I play as black

black should play 4...Be4 provoking more weaknesses in the white camp.

I think that e6 is a mistake and weakens white's pawn structure.  Actually, g4 on move 4 is a bit odd also, although potentially playable.  Traditionally, c4 is the fourth move in the advance variation of the CK, although h4 (nicknamed the Caveman) is gaining popularity as a response to Bf5.  g4 is usually played on move 5, although I suppose transposition is possible if the moves are played out of order.

After 4.g4

You also have the move 4...Bd7 which retreats the bishop; however, it stays some what developed.

Black often argue's white move g4 is a very commital move.
