Caro-Kann Help Need

I want to study the Caro-Kann, which is an absolute monster.

I searched chess.com which offers an Caro-Kann opening thought as well as lichens which has a mountain of studies on this very strategy.

The shear amount of information on this way to master a game is simply overwhelming, so I’d really appreciate some advice on how to start mastering this beast — slice by slice, like cutting a salami.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Find a database of Karpov's games. He took the C-K up in the 1990s and played it very well. Especially he is a useful exemplar in the 3. Nc3, dxe4; 4. Nxe4, Nd7 variation. But then also find a book on the theory of the C-K Advance Variation. Its sharp theory has moved on a lot since the twelfth World Champion was an active player. Alternatively, Gothamchess is the current Master to study and emulate.

It's been probably close to two decades since I played the Caro Kann in tournaments, but found in the library the book The Caro-Kann: The Easy Way by Thomas Engqvist which was released in 2023 and thought it was quite comprehensive for regular strength players.
