Nice. That's why I play 3. Bg4 instead of dxe4.
Caro Kann Two Knights

KB,
Decided to put this in because I mentioned that you can get almost the same position from the Nimzovitch Reversed (or Van Geet) with White. Usually Black will have his pawn on c5 rather than c6. It's the same position when Black occasionally goes there. I usually play the Panov-Botvinnik variation as White against the Caro Kann. This is special to me because it meshes perfectly with the Van Geet Opening for White.

I didn't know that black sometimes played dxe4 in the Two Knights variation, I'm with KillaBeez, I always play ...Bg4.
I've never been mated in 13 moves in this variation. ;-)

KillaBeez,
The Colle-Zuckertort certainly received a lot of attention on this forum. It allows a player to consentrate and not worry about all the possible replies to the Queen's Gambit. People need solutions to concentrate on winning the game instead of worrying about whether a move has left the main line or a subvariation. "The devil is in the details". So I'll avoid the details.

billy, i have been playing the caro kann against e4 and the sla against d4.
i'm still trying to get the best lines , i am not acquainted with the two knights variation(is the caro kann also used whwen playing white?, please pass on some of your knowledge to me
