Chess - Basic Openings

Sort:

The opening of a chess game is really important as it decides the opponent's strategy. A chess opening or simply an opening refers to the initial moves of a chess game. The term can refer to the initial moves by either side, White or Black, but an opening by Black may also be known as a defense. There are dozens of different openings, and hundreds of variants. The most common opening for White is to play E4, and Black D4, Some popular responses to 1. White E4 are -

Sicilian Defense - 1. e4 c5

French Defense - 1. e4 e6

Spanish Opening (Ruy Lopez) - 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5

Seems correct. I just need to know something, though:

Who are you, and what did have you done with @praseed1, @praseedraja1, @praseedraja123, @Praseed123456, and @praseed123?! Put them on the phone so we know they are still alive!
