I posted this to show the ideas we prefer to use in normal games, if you're reading this forum, please answer as when in a situation or when you encounter a double attack, what do you do?! These are my opening ideas of what I would normally do during a game, as in what opening would I use or prefer. Be honest, please and thank you.

Sometimes, I saw that fork with the whites queen, gaining a tempo I believe, thats why some people don't play that but if that happens, I bring my queen out to gain a tempo. Queens gambit was the opening, onto the reti and the ruy lopez.

This is the reti opening I believe, d4. It has varietys to do, you can have a look and analyze or you can even try this in games. I mostly do this to start a queens gambit.

Ruy lopez

Some other people call there is a another way to do this, I didn't complete this diagram, due to forgetting, but after the queen's pawn take we take the e5 pawn with our knight.

-DefenseF0x rating low due to not feeling well every time braw not an fake excuse, now excuse me bye!

In the Ruy Lopez diagram, 4. Nxe5? is a terrible and completely unthematic move.  Instead, 0-0 is normal (although d4 is "playable".)

Nowadays I usually open with the Reti-Barcza system:

White has a number of follow-up plans to choose from. He can play e4 followed by K-side expansion via either e4-e5 or Nh4 + f2-f4, or expand on the Q-side with c2-c3 and a2-a4, or expand in the center with e2-e4 / c2-c3 / d3-d4. His Queen's Bishop can either be fianchettoed at b2 or developed via Re1 / Ndf1 / Bf4 (or Bg5).
