Countering the Sicilian SM gambit

nope
Is that really worth it to hunt down the bishop?
Yes. As chess philosophy would dictate 'You shouldn't place your pieces where they can be attacked by enemy pawns' - GothamChess aka. IM Levy Rozman and 'If you can advance a pawn and attack an enemy piece it's probably a good move' - GothamChess aka. IM Levy Rozman

also 'Every player .. all of you, everyone needs to be doing this when they play games. Everybody needs to be going through the checklist: checks, captures, attacks. Always scan, do I have any checks? , do I have any captures? , do I have any attacks?' - GothamChess aka. IM Levy Rozman

It just looks easier to play from the white side.

Ok whats even going on here, first off why are you chasing the bishop its still posing the same threat it was before but you made a stuctural mess of you kingside in the process with your light knight and bishop are blocked, your going to have a feild day trying to castle, for some reason after weakening the bishop you desided to trade it for yours, Nf3 is coming, e4 is coming, Qd2, o-o-o and your just developed into an unnecicary over exstended pawn structure, Qxd6 makes e5 imminent while exd6 just makes castling even more of a nightmare for no benifit I dont see what this even does if you dont like the london and you wanna try something fun theres alot of other things you can play such as 1. d4 d6 2. Bf4 c5 3. dxc5 e5 which will surely be a fun gambit or a more theoretical variations theres the dutch, the modern, the english defense, and if you gotta play e6 then just play Nf6, c5, and/or b6 as a modified QID and you should be fine.

He's just posting some random nonsense to show off.
Pretty ridiculous stuff, if you ask me- e.g. he gives an alternative line 4.h4 g4 5.f3 d5 6.fxg4? (a move as silly as it looks) 6...hxg4 7.Be5? f6? and some more nonsense following, while 7.Be5 just blunders the h4 pawn (and the game).
not a London
