Whether you’re opponent is a noob or a pro DONT ill tell you why???? Because for noobs they think you’re attacking that pawn on black e5 pawn and will dig an escape route for the king unknowingly and they might attack you’re queen disrupting everything OR they use stockfish……………. FOR PROS THO they know your gonna SCHOLERS MATE them and will do something. BEY BEY

I will do scholars mate(Jk). High rated players know how to counter attack, but then black can say “call an ambulance, but not for me” and then black can just attack you too and you have a chance to get either scholars mated(karma) or get absolutely destroyed(unless you’re a gm that can defend).

You say this but then a bud of mine got to 1200 playing scholars mate exclusively,even when playing black…rating just isn’t what it used to be, and you can get away with it much longer than you used to.

Every higher level player can counter it. But that’s also like what…maybe 8% of the player base.

My friend still plays scholars mate at the 2000 elo level, and even I still face it sometimes. The checkmating trick at the start doesn't work at all, but there is a trap later on that is quite common (I forgot what it was) where black can get attacked or lose material.
