Its not busted its just bad. But if a GM plays it it will be nevertheless hard to win against this system. Especially in a Blitzgame.

The Duras Gambit is busted. It loses by force.
It exposes black's king, simply loses a pawn and is thus one of the most worst defences against 1.e4 along with a5, a6, b5, f6, g5, h6 and h5.
It also dosen't open up any lines(only one for the KING) to develop pieces and would only work as an exotic King of the Hill experiment.
First, there's the Duras-Queen Trap.
Yes, the queen sac wouldn't work against higher rated players, but this is only the start.
