There must be a lot of low stakes blitz players online, as this trap seems fairly obvious. The advantage is you can get to it a high percentage of the time if white plays 1.d4. The comments indicated people were playing this all the time online. I guess the video author gets some ad revenue from all the views. Black wind up with Q vs B + N + P and black is probably a little better positionally as white cannot castle. Presumably, if white declines the knight, black has little or no compensation for the pawn.
