Fashions in openings on chess.com

For unusual openings, many of the openings I have ever faced have been within days of each other (with different people). I am curious what drives this phenomena, and if there is a specific website/blog/etc that is driving this (would be good to know so I can stay ahead of the game )

Some specific examples. I have played ~570 games in all,  (started playing 12 months ago).

(A) Elephant Gambit e4 e5 Nf3 d5: Faced only twice, both in the last 24 hrs, twice in a row!

(B) Saragossa Opening: 1 c3 Faced twice, on June 11 and June 12

(C) Bird's opening 1 f4. Faced 4 times, three times between May 30 and June 25

(D) Reti: 1. Nf3: faced 9 times, 5 of which between Feb 7 and Mar 2 this year.

(E) Petroff 4 Nc6 (e4 e5 Nf3 Nf6 Nxe5 Nc6) Faced 6 times, twice on May 20 and another time twice in a week in July (Still a strange distribution statistically in my 1 yr of playing) 

 I wonder if anyone has a chart showing openings and frequency of games on chess.com, and whether Elephant Gambit has seen an upsurge this week.
