Foolish queen sacrifice opening

In recent times during bullet games i saw a peculiar opening sacrificing Queen for a pawn and denying the opponent the castle. Some times you king is hanging lose and knight comes in and forks king and queen or the opponent attacks with the minor pieces .He can also castle and open the f pawn bring the king under direct attack of rook.So how to repel this attack.
  1. Don't be happy if the opponent has sacrificed his queen he might be strong in this system so know that you are playing the game according to his rule .
  2. Never move your queen she can come into play in the end of middle game has the opponent is out of queen you can safely bring her into play later.
  3. Fianchetto your king bishop and move knight to center so that you control the centre by the bishop rather than claiming the centre by pawn push.
  4. Play cool and stay tight after 20 moves opponents lose their steam and you can come to attack .
Hope this helps :)

He is a queen down. Almost all attacks are bound to fail.

They can't possibly "play it well." You're up a Queen, and I don't even know if they have compensation for a Knight. Unless you blunder the game away, they're dead lost.

you''ve got to be kidding me. Maybe bullet ratings went up by 400, not 300 as I had previously thought.

The White player is rated circa 1500-1550 blitz, 2100-2300 bullet. I don't know what is happening to the bullet ratings but anyway I always said that it's a different game.

Reason to be wary of Queens sacrifice opening all the games i have shown above have players with rating over 2100 .Both attacker and defender.

My idea is to make the back rank clear and put both bishop on G2 and b2 and wait for things to open .

I think it got to be psychological advantage to show the opponent you can win against him even without the queen . Surprised opponent is half beaten.I also feel unorthodox defense like owen defence,Robatsh defence should fare well against this opening.

Avatar of amitprabhale

i agree goin thru all the games, this opening may do wonders only if studied properly. Only drawback of this opening is that, if opponent playes material advantage game thn this sac is useless

Avatar of Snakeopening

If the opponent (black) is ready to sacrifice his queen for two rooks then it is a win win situation for black.

Avatar of orangehonda

Sure, I play this sort of thing against beginners in blitz and win on time :p  But I sure as hell don't do it for any kind of attack lol

If black responds sensibly white gains nothing ,When i mean nothing NOTHING.I ran things games on engien and found the undercurrent is black has to sit Tight for first 20 moves or attack Queens side of white and he is sure to win.Lot of waitign moves helps black.
