Fried liver 6. Nxf7 Kxf7 7. Qf3+ defense

You give away an static factor (A pawn) for a dynamic factor (Development lead, activity, inititave, etc.)

3...Be7 isnt all that playable. I think I remember its called the hungarian defense? White gets an easy advantage. 3...nf6, 3...Bc5 and even 3...d6 are better imo
According to the database 3... Be7 isnt significantly worse than the moves 3... Nf6 or 3...Bc5 and is significantly better than 3... d6 , the Hungarian is also the third most popular choice .

Here on 8... Nb4?! 9 Qe4 and white could plan a3 and then d4, I don't like that position for black. Better is 5... Na5 6 Bb5+ c6 7 dxc6 bxc6 8 Be2 or Qf3 where black has compensation for the pawn.
Any thoughts on a defense?
