i had 14 seconds left, ( no increment )they had 8 mins, pre moved an won all the peices. so with 1 second left i have a queen an rook.
game drawn insufficent material an time.
now this is a game i had no buissness getting a point out of with poor time managment, but how did it draw an not give me a loss ?
If your time runs out, obviously you can't win the game, but sometimes your opponent can't either. Obviously if all he has left is a K, then checkmate is impossible no matter how much time he might have. So they call it a draw. I'll get the article for you...
