Help with an aggressive h5

I often like to play a Kings Indian setup, but lately I've run into some problems with the aggressive players.  Basically the game is over very quickly due to my lack of how to handle this, anyways I'll post a demo game to explain what I mean.

Please feel free to comment on how to stop Black in his tracks, or perhaps is this a reason why the Kings Indian is not popular?

not a KIA expert, but it seems to work because of their rapid queenside developement. I would try to punish them for putting a knight in front of a c pawn by playing 3.d4, changing gears.

I see this in the Sicilian Dragon Yugoslav attack all the time. What going to happen is h4 is coming forcing Nxh4, followed by  Bh3 forcing a Bishop trade, regardless of how you take the trade, g5 is coming to kick the knight off h4 followed by Qh3 the only dfference being is whether g5 comes before or after the queen is on Qh3. To slow this attack down pull your bishop back to h1 or move your rook to Re1 before the h4 pawn push to avoid the bishop exchange.

I forgot to mention that with black castled on the queenside, Your light squared bishop is very strong now so you don't want to be forced to trade it off unless its for one of blacks strong knight possibly winning a pawn in the exchange though as a last resort.

You're playing too passive imo. Your opponent is breaking the rules by playing the flanks and you need to punish him by playing in the center. The usual KID setup is ok but I think you were better served playing d4 and facing him in the center. NEVER EVER play system moves no matter the situation. It works out here but be careful. Here you need take advantage of Black's bad opening play which means you need to play on your own now. Here's something I thought up:

Center counterplay is a remedy for flank attacks - usually.

Nice !!

I remember seeing some games where white can play h4, is this ok??

black might go with 6...e5 then if you keep with the system

He is correct to a degree. But if you go over annotated GM games, you will see what i am talking about. e4 is a ? move c4 would be better because it avoids the pin on the knight. However black didnt play correctly either, he should have captured dxe4 and then pushed h4. With the knight pinned you cant even capture h4 with the knight.
