Help with ChessBase Reader

Greeting to one and all!
I was hoping to find someone with experience with ChessBase Reader. I have the program and I have a .pgn file with the Sicilian Opening on it. I think it's a book.
I've made a ChessBase account for the cloud.
When I wish to save the position in order to continue later, I use: File>Publish To Web>One Click Publication>Download PGN.
Well I do so and load that PGN and all I see is a fresh starting position.
Can someone familiar lend some advice?
