help with KID
is 4 pawn attack hard to play?
Not any harder than any other variation of the KID.
But you will need an understanding of Benoni type positions. By theory the 4 pawns attack in the KID directly transposes to the Mekines variation of the Benoni on move #7.

Actually a very good line against the 4 pawns is going for ...e5.
this is main line of 4 pawn attack
my king feels a little unsafe,no?
9...Re8 has become again the most popular move.
It was supposed to be dangerous for Black due to the very sharp 10.e5 dxe5 11.fxe5 Ng4 12.e6 line, but computers have resolved this as fine for Black in more than one ways. A relatively simple one is this:
I have killed 2200+ opponents with be3 system, nobody knows the correct response and once u get your dream setup your win is guaranteed
you play this
ng4 is the correct response to be3 and then u need some theory but u'll be fine there too
It is just that the autopilot move 7...Nc6 is poor.
Black has many good moves like 7...Ng4, 7...Na6 etc, but objectively the cleanest one is 7...exd4 8.Nxd4 Re8. It's not terribly popular because it deviates from the standard KID motifs, yet it's the easiest way to get equality.
Nobody knows that, I played dozens of KID games demolished my opponents with my dream setup u are going to get like +3 advantage every KID game. Nobody studies KID theory.
Nobody knows that...
You have just given the briefest possible definition of "Hope Chess".

I’m not so sure. Unless I’m confused, he’s talking about a line that’s a reasonable try for White even if Black responds correctly. (It’s a line that’s been played by dozens of strong GMs, and the engine gives White a small edge, even with better responses than 7 … Nc6.) Plus, he’s adding, that in practice, Black rarely responds correctly, at least below, say, 2300. That, it seems to me, is different from some silly, trappy line, where, if your opponent plays sensibly, you’re worse.
