You don't win games by traps.  Learn the opening and outplay him.  Traps are hope chess, as in I hope he makes a bad move.

Exactly. If you would really like to see how to capitalize on people's mistakes who play the scandinavian, goto a chess database and look at games where black lost quickly. It is also important to check out games where white loses, to find out what the difference in play was. I would give a ballpark of...and this depends on how serious you are...10 to 30 games studied and you should feel a lot more confident. Try to be self reliant. so you want to know some traps about Scandinavian defense.

well, here is one of those traps

1. e4 d5  2. Nc3 d6 3. Nd5 e5  now your Knight is in danger because black will do the c6 the next move.  and the knight will be lost if you are not aware of this.  trust me, you can't imagine how many suckers I have got with this move.

There is definitely more traps, but I am too selfish to let you know hahaha.by the way I discover this trap myself.

I'm not sure if White playing an obvioulsy bad move (2. Nc3) and black exploiting it, qualifies as a trap.  BTW I assume you meant 2. ... d4.
