3E2Dcd1Ce (numerical PSCC code 321). It's better to regroup terms according to pawn heights.  peshka.png

3E2Dd1e+ French Advance hierarchy. settings.png

Nice. also, how are the numerical codes listed?

The numerical code is just a numerical part of the full PSCC code. Each digit 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and 0 is listed, at most, once in the descending order. 6 corresponds to taken or promoted pawns (considered to be with height 6). 0 corresponds to pawns that liberated one file and passed to an other file (doubled and multipled pawns).

So, the full numerical would be 6543210. wink.png

Nice. I was wondering about captured, capturing and promoted pawns. But wouldn't that mean multiple pawn structures would have the same numerical code?

Actually, doubled pawns are denoted by * or ². For instance, 6d3D²0E (numerical code: 630, pawn height = 9 = 3+6) for the following Scandinavian position:

If U find any improvement for this PSCC coding, please let me know! wink.png

So tripled and etc would be ^3,^4 etc right? Also, ^2 should be official since not everybody has access to exponents.

Yes, indeed. settings.png

6d3D²2D0E or 6d3D*2D0E or 6d3D"2D0E (numerical code: 6320, pawn height = 9 = 5+6).

Hmm... I'd avoid to write 6d3D^22D0E. In the case of tripled pawns, I'd prefer to use "' instead of ^3. settings.png

So the next positions are also 630?

Oh. so the least advanced pawn has nothing and then it increases. understood. so * for 2 " for 3 then for 4?

Hmm... maybe it would be simpler to put just * or " for all multipled pawns (except for the least advanced pawn in the file). For example, 6d3D*2D*0CE (numerical code: 6320, pawn height 11 = 5+6):

The multiplicity 3 is clear from the code since * appears twice for the same file D. peshka.png

Yes, that is the best.
