It is easy to answer this question, Magnus Carlsen study Capablanca's games and in fact he the only player who plays like Capablanca; almost perfect endgame technique and great understanding in positional play.
He doesn't win every game.

@ecriruam, I think Op meant, why Carlsen wins most games. He didn't word it correctly. It should of have been worded, " Why does Carlsen win most of his tournaments? " or "Why does Carlsen win most of his games? " Carlsen has study the best players and especially Capablanca games, I sure also Karpov, and Fischer too. Magnus endgames technique is almost perfect and positional understand superior to his peers, just like Capablanca. :)
