How many chess openings do you know and which one is your favorite?

too many in order to write them all down.

I think that I might know about 70 or even more names if I can concentrate...

my faviorite is teh French, not sure which variation of what move...

If you're counting sub-variations and such I probably know a couple hundred.  Only use a dozen or so.

 

My favourite? ... Wow.  At the moment I'm loving the strategic nuances of the Benko gambit.  The Snyder Variation of the Sicilian is extremely interesting.  And thanks to a favourable result at master level, I've started using the KG again with more zeal!

To be honest i don't know i never actually counted them. Just studied them as i felt i needed to learn so i could handle my own in tournaments. Sorry i can't be more helpful.
