How to Decline Queen's Gambit: Slav or d30?

I've been wondering, when you personally are faced with the Queen's Gambit, do you prefer 2...c6 or 2...e6? Tell us all about your point of view!

I play 1...Nf6 :P

Hey DarthSirius394, I've been playing 2. c6 lately.  But sometimes I've transposed after 1... Nf6, 2 ... e6, and 3 ... d5 into standard QGD territory.  For me it comes down to my mood and just which exchange variaiton I want to avoid.  Queen's Gambit Declined Exchange or the Slav Exchange.

There's a group called Queen's Gambit Players where we try to check out all the different ways of playing 1 d4 d5 2 c4 from both sides of the board.  Check it out.

2.e6 is my preferred move as it helps develop the king's bishop. 2.c6 is equally good although not helping in development.
