Regarding the Budapest, I like this original approach (8/9.Nd2!?) which has almost no theory.
... As said again, there are NO sound black gambits. ...
How about this? 1 e4 e5 2 Nf3 Nc6 3 Bc4 Nf6 4 Ng5 d5 5 exd5 Na5
Lost.
In the Fischer Variation, 9. Nh3
The Benko is almost certainly sound, and the Marshall is certainly sound.
That is not so.
I have investigated the Benko for a very long time, less so the Marshall.
The Benko is lost with 95% certainty - white takes everything, defends and promotes on the queen side.
The Marshall is very dubious, still not certain how it plays out with perfect play, but over 70% of lines should be lost.
It might hold in a small swath of variations, but again, have not investigated that sufficiently thoroughly.
So, both gambits are dubious.
I would argue that the Winawer Countergambit in the Slav QGD (1.d4 d5 2. c4 c6 3. Nc3 e5) is mostly sound as well.
I would doubt that very much.
Guys you are getting out of our topic of discussion..... Although I agree with both of you.....
You have to be hiding under a rock at this point to not know chess.com = the secret chess show. Anyone who doesnt like it can watch another 100 video ads be loaded to their computer at once. Chess.com has given special permission for him to take over any thread at any time to promote his book....or block anyone in his way.
You are not in your right mind.
Instead of taking part into an interesting discussion, you start attacking again.
I wish superior chess knowledge had taken its deserved place, unfortunately it is not like that.
A refutation of the Marshall would be worth good money to top players. Lyudmil is gonna be rich!
Unfortunately, I have not investigated this sufficiently.
For the time being I know over 70% of lines are lost, but am uncertain what happens with perfect play.
There are slim chances black holds, logically, after all, black plays d7-d5 ONLY on white's imperfect c2-c3(imperfect from a general theoretical point of view, c3 instead of c4, not immediately d4).

The Marshall is unsound: White equalizes easily.
👍

Don't worry, you can refute the Marshall next Tuesday.
Then just make your analyses public. All those analysts, Grandmasters and correspondence experts who are racking their brains for years to find something (even the tiniest of edges) will review it. And then, at the very least, they will have a good laugh...

I too wish superior chess knowledge had taken its deserved place.... but here you are.

All GMs have high opinion of my books.
You have to be a GM to fully understand my concepts.

They can only laugh at your stupidity.
I am certain they will congratulate me.
