7-1 (The Good): g6, Nf6, c6, e6, Nc6, e5, c5.
People underrate the Nimzowitsch, despite the fact that the Accepted is quite good for Black and the Declined is literally just e5 part two.

How is the Pirc questionable but the modern good. They at least have to be in the same area, if not the Pirc bieng better.

Qd2 Be3 is good in the pirc for white

And the nimzowitsch should be in the questionable category, because it is pretty questionable.

and what frog "mindless anti anti gotham fan" boy warpz questions do you have

Modern at least is super easy to play whereas the Pirc is filled with move order tricks, and it’s super hard to play some variations.
What do you mean Nimzowitsch is questionable?

I mean, are you extensively prepped against the Nimzowitsch? Because if not you just have to decline or get steamrolled. Black scores an incredible 49.5 points after 2. d4 on chess.com

I dont know much about Pirc or modern but doesn’t modern have a lot of move order business as well? Also the nimzowitsch shouldn’t be taken that seriously as white. What is the continuation you would play vs d4? Because it looks like white has a good position to me

Star tier:

  1. e5
  2. Sicilian
  3. French
  4. Caro-Kann

2nd tier:

  1. Modern
  2. Pirc
  3. Alekhine's Defence
  4. Scandinavian

The rest are not worth the time and effort to rank them.

Agreed

in the modern black goes a6 in the fourth move basically everywhere (after e4 g6 d4 Bg7 Nc3 d6) and its good

After nxe5, what about nf3 which is what I play. After nxf3, qxf3 gives white a comfortable position but even gxf3 is also a fun thing to play if you want something more exotic

As for the modern, I don’t have much knowledge on it but I feel it should be in the same ranks as the Pirc.

Ilampozhil25

This guy just said the Sicilian’s refuted by the wing gambit 💀💀💀💀

white’s pawn structure is absolutely wrecked, black’s significantly better and easily catches up in development, and the engine already says black has achieved equality

no wonder why the wing gambit isn’t played at the top level

Now look at this!

Black’s still great, despite being in one of the best lines for white! This is a great position for both sides.

That's because you showed a different way of responding. Look at this:

he wanted to put it number 11 putting it below the owens, scandi AND THE BARNES DEFENSE

That is correct, but doing so would be too big of a leap from statistics, and would have been too biased (even for me).

I mean, based off of pure principle, the Sicilian is the second best move in the game and much better than the Barnes

OnTheRunFromCubanPolice

It must be scoring worse in statistics because more people play the Sicillian, no? But I guess we already threw out the common logic by this point. Wing Gambit?

Never thought anyone could one up that dude who claimed Alapin refuted Sicillian. But here we are.

Alapin is awesome 😎

Ok

Even aside from the wing gambit what's wrong with:

OnTheRunFromCubanPolice

The point being how does Alapin refute the Sicillian lmao.

Someone actually said blocking in your own knight for no reason refutes the sicilian?

Wow. To be fair to him everything he said up until he mentioned the Alapin was true...
