To get an opening named after you-- you must play 10 grandmasters and win against all 10  with it. Then you have to publish a couple of books showing the opening is good in theory.

Then, you have to get other grandmasters to approve the opening and say it is good and use it in their games.

Then you must write a scientific paper on the opening and put it  up for peer review. It must past scientific as well as chess peer review.

However if you have done all that and they find you have been promoting the opening yourself--you will not get the opening named after you due to self promotion...
