at the beginning of the video junior banks was giving mario (always hear his name mentioned in the st louis vids) hell and it was none other than gm b finegold, who noticed, that the position on the board had both the kings in check
fwiw i think b finegold is an excellent teacher as it takes someone with some skill to be able to tackle the 1pm class and get some knowledge across
his lectures have helped so i'm grateful

At first I didn't like GM Finegold's "style" much, now I've watched probably more than 20 of his lectures, mainly those at St.Louis, and I think that he's one of the most entertaining chess teachers. (And I mostly care about entertainment, I'm not really striving to improve my chess)
Personally, I like his sense of humor. I remember that I was watching one of his videos (I believe a couple days before a big tournament) and I thought many of his moments were hilarious! I laughed out loud multiple times, to the point of pausing my video and telling my brother about it.
Ignore the haters, keep up the good work!

There's a thread (in a team) regarding humor in chess, where I post funny chess videos from time to time. But in GM Finegold's case I didn't do that. I just wrote "All of GM Finegold's videos I've watched are very funny" xD

As an extreme goody two shoes I'll admit it's not how I'd teach kids, but on the other hand I can see why people like his humor. I have a lot of friends who like dark humor and that's kinda rubbed off on me, so even I chuckle and enjoy his lectures. It's just not how I'd teach kids (just because of how impressionable they may be; don't want them sassing off to their parents or something lol), but I respect anyone who likes him. He's a good teacher at heart.

Sometimes I have trouble understanding Ben's "RAR" jokes on my PC without downloading additional software. Ben, can you make more "ZIP" jokes instead?
