Why not 8-Ne2 instead Nf3? then if 8...d5 you can take with the pawn as it is not pinned.

Sorry to temper your enthusiasm but did u read post 2 (ok he just assessed some moves without explanations...).
Here some brief analysis :
Why nobody answered my question? why not 8.Nge2 instead of Nf3 so your e4 pawn is not pinned anymore and you can recapture in d5 with it?
