is it possible to get the English opening to transpose to either the queens gambit or botvinnik syst

I have very little experience with the English (so sorry if this is a stupid question), but I've enjoyed playing both the botvinnik system and QG lines.

is it possible to get the English opening to transpose to either the queens gambit or botvinnik system against every possible black opening or can black force other variations after 1. c4?

Black can play lots of stuff including: 1...f5 , 1...b6 , 1....e5 lines that won't allow a Botvinnik etc

You can't force black, the answer is no.

Wouldn't that be nice, to be able to force your opponents to play your favorite openings.
