The scandinavian is more aggressive and leads to more complex positions, like the sicilian.
BUT in terms of solidity, yes I may agree with you that the caro-kann or the french defense is the most solid

I've been a Caro Kann player for a long time. And I think it is indeed the most solid reply to e4.
Moist solid opening? That's easy! Ruy Lopez, Marshall attack.
Black has the draw in pocket, and the positions are quite simple strategically. Only annoyance: You have to memorize one hundred variations going 25+ moves deep.

What if White plays an Anti-Marshall?
I play the Caro-Kann a lot nowadays. I've never liked the French and I got tired of the Sicilian. The Caro-Kann is a good defense. It's solid but not inherently passive. It may be played aggressively. I always play to win and I don't think the Caro-Kann makes winning less likely than other popular defenses. I think the most important thing is playing openings and defenses that you're comfortable with.

None of the Anti-Marshalls is particularly hard, but they are over-analysed, too.
I dont know whats an anti-marshall, but in all my spanish games white just plays h3 and im stuck in the spanish torture with 0 attacking chances

Well, on the serious side: Playing the Marshall is not a good idea for class players: Too much theory to absorb, so the objective value of the opening (which is superb, to be sure!) is of no real importance.
Just pick a SIMPLE opening, any simple opening, and learn his ins and outs well- which means not just variations, but positional motives and plans for both sides. Now you are well on your way to get your "solid defense to 1.e4".

What are the simple openings?
the last 3 games I played e5 (spanish) I didn't even played the game, it was all about defending a kingside attack and I lost the 3.
I don't like this kind of chess that the spanish and the QGD offer.
you just defend all game and eventually lose.
Should I choose the caro ?
