Ruy Lopez is not for the carnivores. It's for the constructors like Anaconda

I have learnt the danish gambit and it seems really good but I want to know if it’s good for a 700/600 like me or if I should try other openings (caro kann,Vienna

It is a crap opening. But if the kid accept the whole gambit, then white is better than black. White is losing pawns this way. They are also materials and good source in end game. I won't recommend the danish opening or gambits to a 600 or 700 on cc.

I could beat you using it

I have never understood these threads, "Is opening/defense X good?" What qualifies as "good" for the OP? For me and many others ,it is a good opening because it gives us the kind of game we want; for others it is poor for the reason its not what those players want. Fuzzy questions lead to fuzzy answers, be less ambiguous.

In the end people start bashing each other by claiming that GM-X plays it so it must be good, regardless of what the opening is, even if the GM was playing it as a gag. People need to know that the opening is just one phase of a game and that your middlegame and endgame are far more important to winning than the first dozen or so moves.

Bro, Hikaru and Danya both consider the Danish as a great opening for beginners.

Gambits make the gambiteer develop skills that sharpen play and combinations. There is much to be said for having noobs play nothing but gambits.

I’d say the danish gambit is great if you’re like me and don’t want to study the Englund gambit in this specific order: D4, E5 and then E4
