Not sure if this one is sound. But it sure looks fun.

That kasparov queen sack just a couple posts ago does not look sound that much. What is the idea behind it?

Here is another one.

Houdini evaluates this as much better for white (+1.08), yet white has been unable to win a single game out of more than one dozen. Actually I have played the same as Black against GM Skembris some 29 years ago, and drew quite easily.

yeah this is a well known draw. black has no problems. All the pawns get traded off and you are left with Rook and knight vs queen with some kingside pawns....tis a draw.

Rook, Knight, Pawn, Black's exposed king, and lack of development: all for a queen?

Black has two rooks as far as I can see.

lol whoopsies, my bad, two minor pieces, and big positional advantage for the queen. I think white is a lot better though, not sure if its winning (it probably is though) Check it with an engine, it probably doesnt think white is winning.

I suspect white will gobble up the last queenside pawn, and probably, after a long combination and maneuvering, black will win big material.

White spent years preparing to play this line apparently.

Hey, I played against Dana Mackenzie! He's a 2122 but I beat him last year.
