1 e4 e5 2. Qh5 Nf6 3. QxP+ Be7 with an eventual Nc6 gaining the initiative by making the queen move again is called the kiddie gambit. YES! I understand that 2 Qh5 is a child’s move but black’s play is not childlike. Is it called the kiddie gambit only because white plays like a child?
