Lazy Italian Players.

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Bc5 4. d3 h6 5. h3 d6 6. c3 0-0 7. 0-0 Be6 8. Bb3 Bxb3 9. axb3 Re8 10. Be3 Bb6 11.Bxb6 axb6 12. Re1 Nh7 13. Nbd2 f5 and they wait for their opponent to blunder. It's very annoying that the Italian is the only opening they know and they only wait. Are there this kind of players in your country ?

Many consider 4 c3 and 5 d4 to be very strong moves. If Blacks plays Bc5 and NOT Nf6, White may play 4 d3 to set-up a delayed Fried Liver attack with 5 Ng5, so Black plays 4...h6 to prevent Ng5. But there usually isn't an h3 - the moves given here seem aimless.
Okay, story time!
At a coffeehouse once, I was playing skittles with a Caucasian fellow, never met him before, we actually played all nite till 6am. In one of our last games I played the Italian and some 8 to 10 moves into it he looked kinda bored and said to me "do you wanna just start another game? What you played is called giocco piano it means slow opening and you actually made it piannissimo with d3 which is even slower. I don't see how you can penetrate here, see I'm very solid here, yeah this opening is not really the life of the party, we're in for a long, dull game" etc., etc., etc., he went on and on and on, he was making me bored, so I quick rearranged my side of the pieces and played 1.Nf3.Basically he said to me in a polite way "If we keep playing this, I'm gonna fall asleep on my side of the board."

I want to make it slow with d3. I play the Italian but I ' m not lazy.
Your line in post 2 is just wrong!
1) Anybody playing Black with a clue would not play 4...h6. 4...Nf6 is far more effective.
2) Your move 5.h3 is inferior. 5.c3 is better. White should not advance the h-pawn to h3 until Black has castled. Once Black does castle, White needs to play it to prevent ...Ng4 ideas in response to an upcoming Re1 by White.

They are NOT my moves. The players are 1200-1300 and DON'T EVEN STUDY. THEY WAIT THEIR OPPONENT TO BLUNDER.

Well, if you are Black there:
A) Don't play 4...h6
B) Don't castle if White plays h3 before doing so
C) Actually spend some time studying and beat these clowns instead of whining about it!

How can black castle on 6th move, knight on g8 hasn't moved yet
If Black isn't stupid and plays correctly, he can castle on move 6. The d3-Italian, or Slow Italian, should not involve 4...h6. Correct is:
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 (or 3...Nf6 4.d3 Bc5 5.c3 transposing) 4.c3 Nf6 5.d3 d6 6.O-O and now Black can castle or delay it with moves like 6...a6 (building the escape for the Bishop via ...Ba7), just to name one of many options for Black. 6...O-O is of course an option.

Yeah I meant his line in post #2
