Yes, the Hippo is good. You can also play a reverse hippo as white.

Hi,
Yesterday I saw a random game clip on Instagram where some dude 1500 rated played some super exotic opening where he went super early with his knights on e2 and d2 after moving his both pawns to the center.
Unfortunatelly I didn't save the clip and couldn't find it afterwards but I would very much like to know how this opening is called.
