Maroszy Bind has the reputation to be tough for black even at GM level. The variation on your last diagram seems to be correct. Just continue with 8...d6. I don't think that U can significantly improve your position within Maroszy Bind variations.

*this is mostly a question for high rated people on here
I play the accelerated dragon so naturally I will encounter the Maróczy Bind quite often. The way I normally play against it is the gurgenidze system(probably didn't spell that right) as follow:
however I'm unsure what the best way to continue they play f3 on move 6:
the main move I've been analyzing is Qb6 but it's very apparent that it is still very difficult to play against. Any ideas/recommendations are greatly appreciated!
