obviously you have to send the mate in 50, you can't just claim you have one...

For a hundred you'd have to sac a rook on move 50 and then arrange it so you can mate your opponent on move 100 making sure not to repeat the position.
So I'm saying 100 is the longest mate, but I'm too lazy to play it out. Maybe later.
You could probably look up the longest known mate in an endgame tablebass. But the longest possible forced mate is probably an open question (and likely will be for a very long time!)

Mate in 95 is nothing. I don't buy into mate in 594 until I see it. Here's a mate in 271:

If black can claim a draw (3-fold or 50 move), then it's not a forced mate.
not the longest ever, but a fun mate in 24, that you can actually do in your head ;D
Would be more interesting if it was a forced mate from people's games.
Well technically this can be a mate in however many moves you want it to be...
