What do you think about the KID?I use it quite often at bullet(or KID like structures)
I think the hippo is more feared tbh

for bullet try this. I occasioinaly use it just for fun. Its a real opening, just don't know what the name is
I usually play 1. f4 and I really fear the From's Gambit with 1...e5. Accepting the gambit with 2. fxe5 d6 3. exd6 Bxd6 leads to very active piece play for black while white has to defend 'just right' since there are so many pits to fall into. I usually don't accept the gambit and play 3. Nf3 instead. If you know what you're doing as white (and you're not in a bullet game^^), I guess you should come out on top after accepting the gambit though.

Decline it with 2. e4. Now the gambiteer has to play against a gambit.
Ive gotten rid of all the defences i dislike now, 1.d4 nf6 2.bg5 d5 is kinda boring, so thats probably the worst for me. Other than that, the very rare 1..c6 planning to transpose into a kings indian is annoying, since it dodges my attempts to avoid it.
^^1...c6 against 1.d4 seems like a good transposition to the Slav, it seems like a pain to play against
true, I would play c4 and just use avrukhs lines, but then theres the slav, semi slav, dutch stonewall, solid grunfeld and kings indian.
All of which I avoid through a combination of the 1.d4 bg5 systems (tromp, hopton (1.d4 f5 2.bg5), torre) and the 150 attack against 1.d6 and 1.g6.
Its a real pain, luckily it isnt played all too often though.
Bullet? The best weapon vs bullet is the Caro-Kann. Deadly, because players try to exchange off in bullet, which is a win for black because of better pawn structure.
That's why I play it in bullet on chesscube
Erm I have to disagree, the hippo is easily the best opening for bullet, firstly because your opp wont have a clue what they are doing, secondly because you can throw out the first 12 moves in about 2 seconds, and thirdly because it is unbelievably easy to play with.

Thanks, I've played that a bit. Since I hardly ever play 1. e4 though, I hardly ever play the King's Gambit anyway. I've checked out the general theory of it but without continuous practice, I'm (at my level mind you) as bad at it as I am at the From's :)
It is a good advice though, one that I've gotten elsewhere as well. Maybe I should go take another look... Thanks!
Today i learned that there is a defence called The mafia defence which is a KGD var with 1.e4 e5 2.f4 c5 .what do u think?
