I play e4 as white followed by Ke2.
my opening repetoire

I play e4 as white followed by Ke2.
and then your king disappears in a cloud of smoke...

And we care because?
just wondering, if you're attempting to say that you don't care, then why did you care enough to type a reply?

If you play the king's gambit against 1...e5 than why do you try to transpose to a Ruy after 1.Nc6? This doesn't really make sense, maybe you should try 2.d4 after 1.Nc6. Learning the Ruy is a lot of work, and if you are only going to play it against a 1.Nc6 move order than it is probably not worth it.

It kind of sounds like you do care and don't know why you care but do care about saying that you don't care, but it's not clear whether you care why you don't care or why you should care.

No, he's saying that he doesn't know why he doesn't care, which doesn't make sense, because his first post was asking why he does care.

maybe he doesn't care about his caring so much as he cares to know why he doesn't care so much about caring.
