But after Bxd5 the game is pretty well over for black, that's why 7....ke8 is the better move
I may believe that Kg8 may have been a typo. We all know Ke8 is bad, since it goes backwards which means you're not calm. So I recommend Kg6!!! King activity at its best.

Lol (Edit - Please do not resort to name calling - Staff) What you showed is not called fried liver, real fried liver is 5. exd5 Nxd5 6.Nxf7
Fried liver attack is good because it is very tricky and if the opponent do not defend well, he often lose pieces or something worse.
The game below I tried the fried liver attack, but it went to more than 20 checks then finally I checkmated with only 5 seconds remaining against 3 minutes of the opponent.
