but what if black delays Nc6 untill the bishop has moved? you will have to put it on g2 or c4

and black still gets his easy d5 break and Nd4 and b5

Yep, good point. I feel as though even if Nc6 is delayed (which seems rare from my experience), white still has good attacking chances on the kingside, even if the position is relatively equal.

The Grand Prix is fine imo. If for some reason I wasn’t allowed to play the Open I would choose the Grand Prix instead. But it’s mere existence is questionable- rooted in people not wanting to play the Open Sicilian. People are naturally afraid of theory.

people are afraid to get to this position because black studied the opening

Ask a GothamChess fan what they think of this position as white and they’ll say it’s great. Say it’s from the Open Sicilian and they’ll change their answer to “Oh, the Open Sicilian? Yeah I think black blundered tbh the Closed Sicilian’s better”

oh yeah, great attacking chances here def

Hahaha definitely! Anti-sicilian systems give you a certain degree of satisfaction however - just knowing that your opponent can't use whatever main line theory they have studied!

That’s true, it gives you a weird sense of security knowing you’re guaranteed to know what you’re doing. But, if your opponent plays the Sicilian correctly, he probably knows what he’s doing, too- as someone who plays the Sicilian.

Absolutely. Good sicilian players will still know the right responses to the lesser played lines. I'm not a sicilian player myself (always been afraid of the 'too difficult to play')!

The grand prix attack gives you a massive king's indian style attack. What I recommend is not to play Bb5 and instead go for d3, g3 and Bg2

No problem
