Yes, there are lots of sicilian variations.  Do your own research, then.  I'm not convinced that the c3 lines are at all favorable for White, but I've looked around and found opening lines that aren't too theory-heavy for my standards and give me a reasonable chance of gaining an advantage - there are llines that will do the same for you.  Wikipedia's not a bad place to start, or just google "sicilian defense."

I do OK with the standard 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 (whatever) 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 lines.  Beyond that, I haven't memorized specific lines or responses to various Black continuations, but instead I have favorite target development squares.  I've found if I get my pieces on my target squares, I've got a solid start against pretty much any Sicilian variation Black has been putting together while I developed my pieces.

Here's what I aim for, with the specific move orders and any variations dependant on Black's moves.

Often, depending on whether Black is going after my lead pawns, I end up making a second move with my light Bishop to f3 after I've advanced my pawn to f4 .

At my level, most of my opponents who play the Sicilian do so because they like the look of the outcome stats in databases, or because they know it's an "in" defence among current top players, or because they're told they should.  Beyond that, they don't really know anything special to do with the Sicilian, so if I'm nicely developed, I'll usually have a good game.  By using my generic target squares, I've so far avoided having to dissect and memorize a bunch of different approaches for the zillions of Sicilian variations.
