It was a pleasure to watch his matches against Topalov live.
I am not sure if he can break 2900 FIDE though, I think the rating system got changed quite some time ago.

Erdomus has just become the youngest Super-GM ever, breaking the previous record by more than a year.

Of course all kinds of things can still go wrong, but Erdomus looks to be the most likely candidate to be the new Magnus, and may actually manage to break 2900.
