Here are a few openings I created. I don't know if they can be considered openings or not, or weather they have names already. Please leave feedback. Thanks, TBT

"Blind" is being charitable here. How about "theDownSyndrometiger" ?

Does "feedback" mean vomit?

there we have it, the friendship opening.  both players accept a draw at this point with no blood shed.

someone do not create an opening...

there is a... federation, counsil, or whatever it is called, that gives name to usual apreturess (and by usual i mean good ones, that pleople use often and that they win)

so one can not create them

try you openings against someone and you will se they make you have a lot of disadvange (so you will lose)

(and almost every decent opening already have a name)

go here... http://www.chess.com/openings/... find one that you are confortable with, and use it (a few ones if you want) and try to have a lot of games with it

I like to play the X-opening.
Or giant box opening. The problem with this is that White's Queen is closed within the pawns while Black's Queen is free to roam. White does not want to move any of his pawns in fear that it would mess up the pawn structure.

This comment -along with the box opening by thejackbauer- makes it worth reading this thread.

You stole my openings!

PS: The top one is called the Bermuda Square opening... what goes in does not come out.

lolololol @ the box opening

Lol I'll have to have a look at that box opening, it seems to lead to very double-edged and interesting games.

The 1.Na3.

I prefer myself the All-Out Attack Instead of Defending System (a.k.a. Hidden Power of the Dark Forces):

Na3 = Durkin's Opening; Sodium Attack.

This is so far from the truth...

Actually most of the opennings are created. The best example of this is the "Catalan System", which was created by Savielly Tartakower at a tournament in Barcelona in 1929, when the organizers asked him to create an opening as an homage to the region of Spain where the tournament was being held. This opening was used in the past 2010 World Chess Championship

Like this, there are many openings which hane been "created". Look for the "Benko Gambit" as another good example.

There is no such thing as a council or federation for naming openings.

Keep up working, maybe some day we will have a "Blind Tiger"

That's what you think.... the Illuminati have to approve all new openings.
