New Refutation Trap For the Blackburne-Shilling Gambit

Very cool, but I saw this thread 30 minutes too late.  (Got mated in 7)

Ouch. I have fallen victim to this before, so I know how it feels. Use this trap the next time someone tries it on you.

I also like the name "Blunderbuss Counter-Gambit" better, but that's just me. (For the uneducated, a blunderbuss is a type of flintlock pistol.)

Haha. I was thinking about that, but I thought it would be a bad idea to have the name have blunder in it. I thought it would repel those who didn't know what a Blunderbuss was.

I thought it would sound like a joke as well.

You make a valid point. So flintlock is still the name!

I do like Flintlock Counter-Gambit better than Flintlock trap though.
