You can avoid the entire najdorf mess.
There is a book that just came out from Everyman Chess on White against the Sicilian (do not recall exact title).
It gives lines for White against the 2...Nc6 and 2...e6 Sicilians. Use your Rossolimo against 2...Nc6, and use this book for 2...e6 and 2...d6. Against 2...d6, he recommends the Prins (Same line as the old book "Steamrolling the Sicilian, only updated 15 years). It is 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.f3.
You can get it in Europe now, or in some US Specialty shops now.
Other places, like Amazon in the US or other Amazon places, you will have to wait until January.
I want to create a critical enough sicilian repertoire without having to learn too many structures. My plan is Rossolimo against 2...Nc6 since it scores better than the open anyway. English Attack and Yugoslav Attack vs Najdorf and Dragon. Bc4 against accelerated dragon. g3 against Taimanov. Nxc6 against 4 knights. Idk what to do against the classical and the Kan is Bc4 good enough against the classical or its just easier to play for black and I might as well go for the Rauzer. Is g3 good against the kan? If it will help to take into account my style of play I wouldnt go for something like the poisoned pawn Bg5 najdorf but I dont like uber symmetric positions either. Something in between? Not poisoned pawn messy but scope for both positional and tactical play. I play the 10....Bg7 Sveshnikov and the King's Indian (not the grunfeld too open)
