Opening Explorer & Transpositions

While using the Opening Explorer I noticed that many common openings that transpose into another aren't listed as such. I find it confusing that the same position reached in different ways doesn't bear the same name. I think it would be better if the Explorer would just use the common name for a position no matter how it is reached, it would really make it easier to oversee how the position changes as the opening progresses. As of now it seems like there is an infinity of possibilities, while really many basic positions cover most options of development.

such as 1.f4 e5 2.e4 isn't listed under King's gambit.

Yes it is annoying, but as long as you know where the transposition occured you can figure out the opening.

But you are a basic member with limited opening explorer access, I'm not sure what you want it to do.

How are you meant to know that? (Obviously the example you gave is trivial, but there are deeper transpositions.)

It is worse for a more serious player; the transpositions are innacurate in the database. I've just reached one where in my move order I might win a pawn. But in their move order I cannot win a pawn. Yet it gives both positions as the "same".
