Opening for my first otb?

Sort:
Verwarr
My opening for white is usually 4 knights and Italian; for black, I usually use open sicilian and QID. My question is, for open otb, it's better to play solid opening like London or French, or just use my old repertoire? Note : I hate gambit.

What is your chess federation OTB rating?

Verwarr

It's not for fide, It's just a chess tournament between neighbors. The reason I'm asking was to raise my change to win this tournament because there's money if I win this, and I need those money badly.

I'm also don't know if there will be opponents that have a high fide rating or not.

How many people?

Time control?

How many rounds?

When is it?

Verwarr

Btw, most likely, the tournament will be 15|0 rapid and not clasical.

Openings are not going to decide your games. Openings take years to properly play and understand. Have fun and good luck.
