Opening Variations Online. Suggestions please.

Good afternoon and I hope we are all in fine fettle and keeping a stiff upper lip in these strange times.

I have come back to Chess after a two and a half decade break and basically I have just been doing random things, I know I am not supposed to focus on openings but I have been trying various things and seeing which "felt" like a good fit for me for now.

Basically so I can just narrow stuff down, focus on a few things and ignore the rest. ie try and get reasonable.

For Black I have settled on French Defence and Nimzo/Queens to cover most things with E5 vs the English.

Should be enough of a repertoire to keep me going for long enough.

I am looking for a freebie which is the crux of this post.

Do any of you happen to have any links to good sites that list out the various variations of openings/defences?

I have been watching HangingPawns a youtube channel and he does a great job of explaining stuff but just wondered if some kind soul had this stuff written out accessible on the web somewhere to read?

Thanks for any links and Pointers.

Should add, I have yet to use any of these defences on here. They are a work in progress vs computer as they are completely new to me.

Just one source (some sites use different names for some variations). There may be some variations not included, but you can always make your own using it as a starting point and add them later on.

It might be a little overwhelming and distracting, but it's basically what you asked for.

Thanks, will check it out. I am not going too deep on it, as nobody I play at the moment will probably know the theory much either. Just want to learn enough not to lose in the opening.
