Opinion about Benoni?

I was wondering what do people think about this opening. Many times I accidentaly played it because of a missclick or premoved Sicilian. Is it worth learning?

The Benoni is fine for black, especially if you enjoy playing more aggressively, but it's probably safer to play Nf6 first and then transpose into the Benoni than to play c5 immediately, which seems to be the case if you are premoving the Sicilian and getting the Benoni

The Benoni is a very aggressive defense which I enjoy playing if White allows. A couple of things to keep in mind though. First, it seems best to wait for White to play Nf3 before steering it into a Benoni because then White doesn't have the chance to play an early f4 which can cause problems if Black doesn't play precisely. Second, and perhaps most frustrating is the fact that White can simply deny the Benoni by refusing to push the d pawn to d5. In that case you need to look at White's other options and find defenses to those.

I love the Benoni, it’s awesome! As White. It’s rough as Black, and essentially anything but the KID transposition to the Modern Benoni and White won’t have any real issues with even decent play.
