Optimal openings

An opening is optimal if all played moves are the best moves. In this way, white should constantly preserve their slight initial advantage of the first move. In order to determine best moves, it's necessary to use a good master database and a good engine. ⚙️

I'll write some optimal openings in my subjective opinion. Please write if U agree/disagree and, eventually, propose other openings that could be considered as optimal. 😎

How did you get g3? And why is that better than b3?

I'm not sure about Caro-Kann: is it optimal for black‽ 🤔

1. g3 is normally transposable with 1. Nf3. It's better than 1. b3 since it allows a quicker fianchetto + castling. 😎

caro is optimal, come on

either both it and the french are suboptimal or both optimal

i cant see any world where they are different

also, in this way 1 . e4 is a more forcing move
